Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Supervisor to join Aldi's team. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, and developing operational plans. You will play a key part in supervising the team, identifying training opportunities, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the direct leader in developing and implementing action plans for improved operating results
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance
• Ensure store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and merchandising for maximum sales
• Supervise day-to-day operations, escalating issues when necessary
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of retail experience
• Ability to lead a team and provide excellent customer service
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in cash register operation and equipment handling
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior management experience preferred
