Associate Buyer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Associate Buyer to join the National Buying team at ALDI. As an Associate Buyer, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the product life cycle of a subset of products, collaborating closely with suppliers and the Buying Director. You will manage product samples, provide recommendations based on market knowledge, and ensure the quality and value of our products meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Buying Director in product lifecycle management.
• Organize and manage product samples from suppliers.
• Provide recommendations based on market trends.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and coordinate information flow.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties effectively.
• Utilize computer applications for database management and reporting.
• Contribute to training and committee activities.
• Perform administrative duties and maintain data confidentiality.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Business or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
