Role Summary

The Capture Manager plays a crucial role in leading the strategy, execution, and management of capture-related activities across aerospace and defense sectors. Responsibilities include identifying potential customers, strategic planning, leading business development teams, and ensuring the success of capture and proposal activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead capture strategy development and execution.
  • Manage and coordinate capture and proposal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
  • Act as the primary customer contact for proposal activities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the capture process.
  • Provide innovative solutions for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Conduct after-action reviews to enhance processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business Management with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of commercial and USG contracts.
  • Experience in competitive pricing strategies and cost proposals.
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain USG Security Clearance.

Desired Characteristics

  • Master's degree in STEM or Business Administration/Management.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Domain expertise in Aerostructures or structural components.
  • Proven success in leading captures with a track record of >$50M.
  • Experience with DoD customers and strong aerospace industry network.
