Cashier/Stocker (Part Time)

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Cashier/Stocker to join the ALDI team and contribute to enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a valued member of our collaborative team, you will be responsible for operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with direct leaders.
• Uphold security and confidentiality standards.
• Cashier: Process customer purchases, provide customer assistance, monitor inventory.
• Stocker: Maintain proper product rotation, create merchandised displays, operate machinery safely.
• Meet physical demands including lifting and moving products.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service, follow company policies, and procedures.
• Cashier: Operate a cash register efficiently and comply with state and local regulations for beverage sales.
• Stocker: Safely operate equipment such as hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Strong verbal communication and time management skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience a plus
