CDL-A Hazmat and Doubles Truck Driver

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated CDL-A Hazmat and Doubles Truck Driver to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight in Honolulu, HI. Our City Drivers are essential in maintaining strong customer relationships and play a vital role in our operations. As part of the ABF Freight team, you will utilize up-to-date technology to execute your responsibilities with efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations near the consolidation/distribution center.
• Load and unload trailers using industry-standard techniques, technology, and procedures.
• Tasks and schedule may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
• At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience is preferred; training opportunities are available for less experienced drivers.
• Valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
• Strong work ethic and stable work record.
• Clean driving records and ability to meet DOT medical requirements.
• Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening.
