Central Sterile Reprocessing Educator

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Central Sterile Reprocessing Educator to join The University of Vermont Health Network team. As a CSR Educator, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing educational programs for orientation, training, and ongoing assessment of Central Sterile Reprocessing staff at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational programs for CSR staff.
• Maintain high reliability and excellence in quality assurance and employee safety.
• Monitor and update Practice Documents and Policies related to reprocessing methods for efficiency and safety.
• Stay updated on industry standards and developments in medical reprocessing techniques.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certification (CSPDT or CRCST and Certified Endoscope Reprocessing) required.
• Experience in Central Sterile Reprocessing with technician certification.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SPM, OneSource, and PICIS.

Experience

• 2-5 years as a Certified Instrument Specialist.
• Experience in conducting in-service training programs.
