We are excited to offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced candidates in Central Sterile Reprocessing to join The University of Vermont Health Network. As the Central Sterile Reprocessing Educator, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of educational programs for staff training and certification. Your role will involve maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance, safety, and efficiency in reprocessing methods and workflow processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement educational programs for orientation, training, and ongoing monitoring.
• Ensure staff acquisition and maintenance of IAHCSMM certification.
• Create, evaluate, and update Practice Documents and Policies for reprocessing methods.
• Monitor industry standards and developments related to medical instrumentation reprocessing.
• Assess learning needs and formulate educational curricula to meet departmental requirements.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certification (CSPDT or CRCST and Certified Endoscope Reprocessing) required.
• 2-5 years of experience in Central Sterile Reprocessing with technician certification.
• Proven experience in conducting in-service training programs.
