Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our dynamic National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing construction costs on a national level and collaborating with divisional real estate teams to evaluate construction bids. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of construction documents and hold an educational background in construction, architecture, or engineering. Your primary goal will be to ensure that construction costs align with project scope and regional cost trends, contributing to the success of one of the fastest-growing retailers in the nation.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Construction Managers and divisional teams to develop negotiation points with contractors.
• Provide pricing data and practices to ensure consistent pricing structure.
• Analyze bids and prepare detailed reports for project awards.
• Review construction documents and proposals to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Strong ability to interpret construction documents and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and RS Means software.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
