Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway. As a Cook, you will work closely with the Chef to prepare and cook meals, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure high-quality food and service standards. Your responsibilities will include following recipes, assisting with inventory management, and upholding kitchen safety and sanitation protocols. This role also involves overseeing kitchen operations in the absence of the Chef.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in meal preparation and cooking tasks.
• Maintain food quality, portion control, and inventory levels.
• Enforce recipe standards and ensure consistency in food quality.
• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager for continuous improvement in kitchen operations.
• Adhere to sanitation and cleanliness guidelines throughout the kitchen area.

Requirements

• High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years related experience.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
