We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at Calumet Trace Senior Living. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals while ensuring the smooth operation of the Dining Services Department. This is a rewarding opportunity to enhance the lives of our residents through your culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Discuss and resolve food services problems promptly with team members and leaders.
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner following designated guidelines.
• Adhere to health, safety, and infection control practices.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and maintain organized storage.
• Assist in performing duties and maintain professionalism in resident interactions.

Requirements

• Serve Safe Certification may be required as per state regulations.
• Experience working with the elderly is preferred.
• Proficient in English with the ability to follow instructions.
• Capability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Physical stamina - able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Pass a background check for employment consideration.
