Job Description
We are hiring for the position of Customer Service and Stock Specialist at Aldi. As a crucial part of the team, you will contribute to ensuring the store is well-organized, customer-friendly, and efficiently operational. Your role will involve stocking products, cashiering, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting store environment.
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases and maintain cleanliness and organization in the store.
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly and efficiently.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with their needs and inquiries.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any concerns to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Comply with company policies, maintaining security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Demonstrate prompt and courteous customer service skills.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to follow cleaning standards and company procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Work independently and in a team environment effectively.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and execute tasks professionally.
- Comply with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage.
- Combination of education and experience considered.
