Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, provide feedback on products, and report any issues to management.
  • Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain security and confidentiality.
  • Perform general cleaning duties and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
