Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your collaboration with the Aldi team and dedication to exceptional customer service will be key to success.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 per week
- Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures
- Follow company policies while ensuring document and data security
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Excellent customer service and cash register operation skills
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- High school diploma preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
