Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) expected for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Assist customers, collaborate with team members, and communicate effectively with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to improve store performance.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
