Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store staff, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Capable of following company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
