Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the ALDI team. This role involves merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and other store issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and operational procedures
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capability to follow company policies and procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask efficiently
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
