Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Your role will involve collaborating with the Aldi team to deliver exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assistance to shoppers.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate stock monitoring.
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to uphold store standards.

Physical Demands

  • Stock merchandise and place products on shelves, including handling items up to 45 pounds.
  • Engage in various physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and walking.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Capacity to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Meet necessary requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous.
