Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory issues, and scanning errors.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
  • Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, and uphold security standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
  • Experience with general cleaning duties and adherence to company standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous.
