Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. This is a full-time position with an average of 32-40 hours per week and a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Give feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and follow company procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register.
- Proficient in operating store equipment and performing cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
