Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Report feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related matters
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide courteous customer service
  • Operate cash register efficiently
  • Handle equipment safely and properly
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
