Job Description
We are currently seeking a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to improve operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Follow company policies, uphold data security, and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Knowledge of general cleaning procedures.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking capability.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is beneficial.
- A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
