Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team to enhance the customer shopping experience and ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Aldi's core values and competencies in daily tasks.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Conduct store inventory counts and monitor accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
  • Follow all established policies and maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of interpreting and applying company policies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is an asset.
