Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store is well-organized, products are stocked efficiently, and customers receive exceptional service. This position is full-time with an average of 32-40 hours per week, starting at $17.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professionalism and ALDI core competencies in the workplace.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide top-notch customer service, aid customers in their shopping experience, and work collaboratively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory management, and other store-related matters.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure compliance with cash handling regulations.

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.
• Engage in routine in-store activities like standing, bending, lifting, and walking.
• Adapt to work requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
• Capable of using store equipment and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Compliance with company policies and procedures, including alcohol handling requirements.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
