Data Center Operations Technician I

Job Description

Flexential is seeking a Data Center Operations Technician I to join the team. This is a market-based position that involves providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. As a Data Center Operations Technician I, you will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining data center cleanliness, assisting with installations, and ensuring the smooth operation of facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution and escalation of facility and customer issues.
• Follow and enforce data center policies, processes, and procedures.
• Assist with physical installations and maintenance of Flexential services.
• Operate and manage the badge access security system.
• Work in a 24x7x365 environment, supporting any shift as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft operating systems.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in an IT support environment.
• Network +, Security +, CCNA, Microsoft MCP, or MCSA certifications are beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to climb ladders, work in cold environments, and lift heavy objects.
• Experience with cabling installation.

Base Pay Range: $19.33 - $22.67 per hour.
