Director Customer Development

We are looking for a Director of Customer Development to join our team at CROSSMARK. The ideal candidate will be deeply knowledgeable about the retailer, competition, and marketplace, serving as a key contact for the retailer's leadership team. This role involves driving sales growth, exploring revenue opportunities, and managing a variety of operational and business aspects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and be accountable for retailer P&L items, including revenue and expenses.
  • Provide leadership to team members on business and ethical issues, fostering a positive and growth-oriented environment.
  • Drive growth for CROSSMARK HQ clients above the industry standard.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with retailers.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth beyond traditional services.
  • Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and execute client plans effectively.
  • Communicate customer insights and changes across relevant positions at CROSSMARK.
  • Analyze data to identify sales opportunities and promote additional client products.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience

Experience: 5 years CPG industry experience with 2 years of headquarter selling experience

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Working Conditions: Office and field environment, occasional travel may be required.
