Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly qualified Director of Toxicology to lead and manage the global nonclinical regulatory and investigative toxicology efforts for our portfolio products. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting drug development programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing expert toxicology guidance across cross-functional teams.

Essential Functions:

• Lead, support, and manage direct reports in toxicology.
• Design and monitor toxicology studies at external CROs.
• Prepare regulatory documents and responses to health authorities.
• Contribute to early development and cross-functional teams.
• Provide subject matter expertise to internal functions and external collaborators.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Biochemistry, or Biology.
• 8-10 years of experience in small and large molecule drug development.
• Strong knowledge of FDA, EMA, and ICH guidance documents.
• Experience in authoring non-clinical elements of major regulatory submissions.
• Excellent communication and scientific writing skills.
