Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly qualified Director of Toxicology to oversee the global nonclinical regulatory and investigative toxicology of assigned portfolio products. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and registration of life-changing medicines for patients in need.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage nonclinical regulatory toxicology activities for assigned Jazz portfolio products.
• Collaborate with direct reports and cross-functional teams to develop and execute global nonclinical regulatory strategies.
• Review and finalize toxicology study designs, reports, and regulatory documents to ensure compliance and quality.
• Represent Toxicology in cross-functional teams, identify potential issues, and propose de-risking strategies.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Biochemistry, or Biology.
• 8-10 years of experience in drug development toxicology, preferably in oncology and CNS indications.
• Strong knowledge of FDA, EMA, and ICH guidance documents and GLP regulations.
• Experience in authoring nonclinical elements of major regulatory submissions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
