Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, and implementing operational strategies to enhance store performance. You will be responsible for developing and growing the team through training opportunities and ensuring a cohesive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store operating results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
  • Identify training opportunities for team development.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback to maintain the company's position.
  • Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
  • Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and signage standards.
  • Merchandise products effectively to drive sales.
  • Supervise team operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Prior retail experience preferred.
  • Previous management experience is a plus.
