Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store is well-organized, stocked, and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandise stocking, cleaning, and collaborating with team members to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Ensure inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Comply with all company policies while maintaining document and data security
• Perform general cleaning duties to uphold store standards

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safely operate store equipment
• Interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Work well independently and in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience desired
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
