Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and company procedures to minimize discrepancies
• Adhere to company policies while ensuring document security and data confidentiality

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register
• Proficient in using store equipment and performing general cleaning tasks
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently
• Adherence to state and local regulations for alcohol sales, if applicable

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
