Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining a well-organized and customer-friendly store environment. Your responsibilities will include merchandise stocking, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and presentable at all times.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange products neatly on shelves.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory management, and any issues to the management team.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of documents and data.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older to be employed at Aldi.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work well independently and in a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
