Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in the store's operations, including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment, all while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Report product feedback, inventory issues, and operational concerns to management
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling procedures
- Follow company policies, ensure document security, and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or above
- Proficient in cash register operations and equipment handling
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties according to standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Ability to meet state requirements for alcohol sales
