Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. As a Store Associate, you will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver top-notch customer service and contribute to the store's overall success.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register with accuracy.
- Safely handle store equipment and perform cleaning duties.
- Interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
- Comply with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
