Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your role will involve collaborating with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
• Work closely with team members and communicate effectively with management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register.
• Safely operate store equipment and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
