Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Starting Wage

• $17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
• Give feedback to management on products and inventory
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate cash register efficiently and accurately
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Interpret and apply company policies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Stay organized, attentive to detail, and multitask effectively
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
