Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties and process customer purchases.
• Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring document security.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior retail experience and high school diploma preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
• Capable of operating store equipment and performing cleaning duties.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.
