Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company procedures and uphold security and confidentiality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register accurately.
• Capable of safely operating store equipment.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience considered.
