Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the store looks its best while providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in your role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures for security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds and place products on shelving at various heights.
• Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register.
• Safely operate equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Follow company policies and procedures with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Stay organized, follow instructions, and multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
