Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to a positive shopping environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any store-related issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures
- Follow established policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficiently operate a cash register
- Safely handle equipment
- Execute general cleaning duties to company standards
- Interpret and implement company policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions
- Meet state and local requirements for the sale of alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred
