Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. By working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our valued customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and other operational aspects.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently.
• Capable of operating equipment and performing cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
