Job Description: Full-Time Store Associate

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Report product feedback, inventory issues, and operational concerns to management
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while upholding security and confidentiality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and polite customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Safe operation of equipment such as hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers
• General cleaning abilities to maintain store cleanliness
• Interpretation and application of company policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Capability to work independently and in a team setting
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior retail experience (preferred)
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
