Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with team members, assist customers with their shopping needs, and contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and support a positive shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
- Comply with company policies and maintain document security.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Follow company cleaning standards and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
