Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, product stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the Aldi team, demonstrate professionalism, and deliver outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays with precision
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash-handling policies to prevent losses
- Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of 18 for employment
- Proficient in cashier operations and customer service
- Skilled in operating equipment and performing general cleaning tasks
- Ability to understand and implement company policies and procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of working independently and within a team environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient in multitasking
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
