Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is organized, well-stocked, and provides excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and maintaining a clean store environment to create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with store inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to ensure security and minimize losses.
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document and data confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
