Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your primary responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and welcoming environment for our valued customers. You will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assist customers with their shopping needs, and communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to support store improvement.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
- Comply with company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the management team.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or above to qualify for this position.
- Proficiency in delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Skilled in operating store equipment and conducting general cleaning tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking effectively.
- Compliance with state and local regulations concerning alcohol sales and handling.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
