Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the team will greatly contribute to enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and potential issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies, minimize losses, and maintain confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capability to perform cleaning duties and follow company policies
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
• State and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
