Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in your daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers and addressing their needs.
- Work alongside team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory management, and operational improvements.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Follow company policies and procedures to safeguard information security.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe handling of equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Capability to maintain store cleanliness and follow procedures.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is an advantage.
- Combination of education and experience will be considered.
