Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join Aldi, where you will play a key role in ensuring the store maintains a welcoming and organized environment. As a Store Associate, you will perform various tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers. Your ability to collaborate with the Aldi team and provide exceptional customer service will be crucial to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their needs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and help maintain accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow inventory management guidelines and assist with store counts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash register and various store equipment.
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness and following company standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Adept at working independently and in a team setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Meet all requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages as per state and local guidelines.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
