Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to the highest standards. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and potential issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies to minimize losses and follow company procedures.
• Perform general cleaning duties according to company standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient cash register operation skills.
• Safe and proper equipment operation knowledge.
• Interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
