Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized store, providing exceptional customer service, and collaborating effectively with the Aldi team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic work environment and enhance the overall customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Aldi's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
• Communicate effectively with team members and management
• Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to ensure minimal losses
• Comply with company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of following company policies and procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
